Check out this towfish! It is a sidescan sonar towbody. Williamson and Associates used it to conduct a bottom survey of Fairweather Ground, Alaska.

Sorry about the angle! But all I wanted from this pic is to show the setup of the W&Assoc. tow. Actually, most of the Williamson crew is out on deck in this picture. And the Captain of the ship (R/V Medeia), Wade Loofburrow, he's the guy in the red shirt and blue ball cap.

Here's a another picture of the Williamson sheave. Just so you know.

ADCP mount on Medeia

This is how we mounted our ADCP on the ADF&G Research Vessel Medeia. Our CTD mounts right on top of the ADCP cage. The cage is actually welded to the pole (Thanks to Wade!). The beam angle of the ADCP allows us to mount it this close without 'seeing' the tracking pole.
