Goal: Provide each student with a set of quantitative tools to confidently argue polar science issues that relate to ongoing public climate change debates.

Format: This is an experimental class that combines traditional lectures on selected topics with workshop-style active learning modules to aid project-based problem solving.

Resources:

Expectations: Each student shall be able to develop, apply, and critically evaluate

Grading: Homework (5x5%), projects (3x15%), Final (20%), active participation (10%)
